Broker Account Manager
Everflow Water is a forward-thinking, independent business water retailer, providing great value services to SMEs in England and Scotland.
Everflow Water has been serving Scotland since 2015, and since the English market opened on 1 April 2017, has gained the largest number of supply points among competitors. Its rapid growth can be attributed to competitive rates, a goal of making customers’ lives easier and a friendly team who are on-hand to provide customers and brokers with help and advice from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Not only does Everflow Water save the customer money, the team are passionate about ethical and environmental issues, so the way Everflow operates is sustainable, and we give back by commissioning wells in countries where water scarcity is common. For every 250 customers switched, a new well is commissioned.
The Broker Account Manager is responsible for both finding new brokers and sales partners to work with whilst maximising sales through existing relationships
Duties and responsibilities
Develop new broker relationships to increase Everflow Water’s revenue in-line with targets
Undertake contract negotiations with new partners to protect Everflow Water’s interests whilst maximising the opportunities that brokers have to sell
Produce ad-hoc pricing for brokers where required
Encourage existing partners to put the majority of their business through to Everflow Water through creating and developing attractive commercial and service propositions to make their lives easy
Maintain a good awareness of developments in the industry to educate our partners and advise them on how best to capitalise upon new opportunities
Maintain a good understanding of competitor’s offerings to maintain Everflow Water’s position as the leading provider of innovative water services
Produce commission reports for brokers and sales partners on a monthly basis
Produce monthly reports on sales progress
Develop sales literature to support new products
Deliver training for new and existing partners on Everflow Water, our products and processes
Key result areas
Acquiring new sales partners and brokers that reach the required monthly broker sales targets
Work within defined territory to deliver growth of 20% in revenue from brokers
Ensuring that brokers/sales partners maintain 100% compliance and that products are never miss-sold
Must have experience of working within the utilities market to develop new relationships with brokers
Must have a good reputation within the broker community for delivering excellent service to brokers
Must have demonstrable track record of increasing sales through the brokers TPI channels
Minimum of 5 GCSEs A* - C A level in Maths preferable
Knowledge of the competitive utility market is essential. Knowledge of the Water Industry is preferable but not essential.
Must be IT literate and able to use MS Office suite of software.
Must have excellent commercial and financial skills and be adept at using Excel.
Self-starter; must have a proven track record of introducing new brokers/sales partners into an energy utility without constant supervision.
Enthusiastic; must be able to engage with Directors/Business Owners as well as Sales & Admin staff Persuasive; must be able to demonstrate successful contract negotiations.
Office based in Nuneaton with required UK travel.
Negotiable, depending upon experience
Must be able to provide references from existing broker clients which will not be contacted unless the job has been accepted by the candidate
